About me
Skyla leads product management, development, design, and content development for the IBM Z Software business, focusing on delighting clients across our IBM Z Transaction Processing platform. This includes our core z/OS application and data management products such as IMS, CICS, Db2 for z/OS, and z/TPF, as well as our software products in support of application development, operations management, security, integration, compilers, and applying AI to transform and simplify the IBM Z user experience.
Skyla has worked across distributed platforms, public cloud, and IBM Z and leverages her diverse set of experiences to drive innovation across the IBM Z platform. Key focus areas include driving enterprise standardization, platform integration, and enabling clients to get the most value out of their IBM Z platform, applications, and data as part of a hybrid cloud strategy.
She has over 20 years of experience in development and product management roles across public cloud, mobile, business analytics, data warehousing, and NoSQL. Passionate about culture, she has led transformation journeys across multiple teams. Based in Morgan Hill, CA, Skyla enjoys cooking, gardening, and both wine making and wine appreciation.
