Db2 LUW V12 has a plethora of changes in the area of security and this session will highlight everything new and changed. This includes features such as enhancements to trusted context, tablespace administration, fenced stored procedure lockdown, and minor authentication improvements. A focus has been made on cleaning up less than secure defaults and features. These have direct impact to many daily operations, be sure to attend to learn about all of these changes.

Greg Stager is the security architect for Db2 LUW at the IBM Toronto Lab. Greg has been a member of the Db2 security development team since 2000, where he has worked on all aspects of security within Db2, including authentication, authorization, auditing and encryption.
